Vacancies: HSE Performance Analyst and Reporting Engineer, Industrial Hygiene Officer
Our client is a Multinational Oil and Gas Company with strong bases in Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja as the corporate office. The company has strong history of operations in Nigeria and due to expansion in the activities in their onshore and offshore fields, HSE Professional service opportunities exist on contract basis for ambitious the following technical areas;
Position: HSE Performance Analyst and Reporting Engineer
The position will act as a focal point for HSE performance review and reporting functions. This will include interfacing with other entities for data input.
Qualification:
- Candidates must have B.Sc/HND in any Engineering discipline with a minimum of Second Class Division/Credit Level.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience, of which one year must be in the oil and gas industry.
- Professionally trained in recognized HSE Management systems and Environmental Management Systems standards (OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 19011).
- Studios and Analytical mind and good knowledge of statistical analysis
- Need to be a team player, rigorous and objective.
- Need to have good presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills in particular proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and Power point.
Positions: Industrial Hygiene Officer
The position will have significant impact in the implementation of Industrial Hygiene procedures and regulatory compliance monitoring for healthy work environment and practices.
Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science (B.SC,) degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry (Analytical/Industrial), Biochemistry or related discipline with minimum of Second Division. A Masters Degree in Occupational Safety and Health will be added advantage.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience, of which 3 years should be in sampling and analytical duties.
- Good knowledge of analytical standards and protocols (WHO, ASTM, APHA, etc) will be an added advantage.
- Studios and Analytical mind and good knowledge of contamination and pollution issues and health.
- Need to be a team player, rigorous and objective, reliable and organized with positive attitude.
- Excellent computer skills in particular proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and Power
- Work under limited supervision and function in a team environment.
