Vacancies: HSE SUPT, HSE Supervisor
Our client is a Multinational Oil and Gas Company with strong bases in Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja as the corporate office. The company has strong history of operations in Nigeria and due to expansion in the activities in their onshore and offshore fields, HSE Professional service opportunities exist on contract basis for ambitious the following technical areas;
Positions: HSE SUPT
The position will have significant impact on HSE performance improvement drives at site and to HSE management of contractor’s intervention works. The position will provide leadership to HSE team’s activities on site and support to the Oil Installation Manager.
Qualification:
- B. Eng/HND in any Engineering discipline with minimum of Second Class Division/ Credit Level.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 8years working experience in HSE practices in the same capacity
- Membership of the Nigerian institute of safety professionals or order safety professional bodies is added advantage
- Must have good knowledge of the applicable standards in safety studies.
- Good knowledge of production process and/or oil and gas exploitation discipline
- Must be computer literate (Words. Excel, Power point, Publisher, etc)
- Must have Good communication and organization skills
Positions: HSE Supervisor, (Sites, Office Base and Rigs)
The position will have significant impact in HSE performance improvement drives through the implementation of HSE control measures for injury free activities. This will include monitoring of contractors work execution and worksite hazards identification and control.
Qualification:
- B. Eng/HND in any Engineering discipline or related Science discipline with minimum Second Class Division/ Credit Level.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in HSE practices on operated site or construction sites/yards.
- Membership of the Nigerian institute of safety professionals or order safety professional bodies will be added advantage
- Must be computer literate (words, Excel, Power point, Publisher, etc)
- Must be persuasive with ability to influence other operations.
- Exposure in drilling activities will be added advantage (applicable to Rig Safety Supervisors only).
