QA/QC Engineers, Contract Engineers, Marine/Logistic and Procurement Engineers at an Indigenous Oil Service Company

Vacancies: QA/QC Engineers, Contract Engineers, Marine/Logistic and Procurement Engineers

 

Our Client an Indigenous Oil Service Company based in the Niger Port-Harcourt, is a major player in EPC activities of the Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria. Following expansion in its operations, key vacancies now exist for its on-going Project works.

Position QA/QC Engineers

 

Qualifications:

  • recognized qualifications as required by the codes, Senior inspector in welding, NOT technique’s, radiation safety, coatings, q/a audit, control of material traceability, audit schedules, meeting the requirements ISO 9000 series.

Experience:

  • at least 10 years in the petrochemical industry and 5 years offshore experience, should be able to clearly identify quality problems and the required corrective action, write and qualify NDT procedure’s, have radiography interpretation, identify welding defects, qualify welders, qualify WPS and witness PQR’s, review quality procedures, carry out audits, certification for materials and other quality activities that may be required.

 

 

Position: Contract Engineers

Minimum Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience with degree from a recognized institution or equivalent and 5 or more years in current position, Specialist in administration of large EPC contracts (including variation and claims). Proven ability in interpretation and negotiation of terms and conditions for large construction projects.

Position: Marine/Logistic and Procurement Engineers

Minimum Requirements

  • A trained professional with a minimum of 15 years experience in supervising onshore marine/logistic base to support offshore marine operation for construction works similar to the Offshore Construction and Installation Program. Capable of managing Contractors procurement resources across all disciplines.
  • Must be able to serve as the primary liaison to contractors home office procurement staff for additional work requests.
  • Has experience in managing all aspects of procurement for construction projects for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.
