Vacancies: Reservoir Engineer, Petroleum Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

An indigenous oil producing company is expanding its operations and seeks to recruit additional staff. Candidates who meet the requirements are invited to apply for the positions below:

 

Position:     Reservoir Engineer

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have Degree in Reservoir or Chemical Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience with a service company or an oil producing company in a reservoir engineering or production modelling role. Knowledge of VIP is an advantage.

 

Position:     Petroleum Engineer

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience with a service company or an oil producing company in a petroleum engineering, production engineering or production optimization role. Knowledge of production models is required.

 

Position:     Mechanical Engineer

 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience with a service company or an oil producing company in a mechanical engineering rote.
  • Good technical knowledge of typical mechanical equipment found on an oil producing facility is required.
  • Design experience is also required. Operational experience would be an advantage.

 

General

All these roles are hands on roles that will require some travel to remote sites.

First degrees must be first or second class.

 

For all roles, excellent numerical skills, analytical skills and excellent attention to details are essential. Excellent computing skills in MS Excel and Word are also required.

Attendance at a post-graduate oil industry training program such as PTI, IPS or SITP will be an advantage
