Vacancies: Senior Reservoir Engineer, Senior Production Technologist
Our client, an Indigenous Oil and Gas Company involved in development of an oil field in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, plans to develop its production facilities consisting of a flow station and gas plant, oil and gas flow lines, pipelines and water disposal system. Consequently, there is an opportunity to grow with a new and dynamic company for professionals required to fill the below vacant positions in the Company
Position: Senior Reservoir Engineer (Ref. F1)
Locations: Lagos and Akwa Ibom State
Duties
- Will coordinate and manage all reservoir engineering discipline activities
- to optimise performance and maximise economic recovery of the Company’s oil and gas resources, reporting to the Sub-Surface Director
Specific Qualification
- A minimum of second class honours degree in Geology, Engineering or Geophysics with 5-10 years post qualification experience; Must be conversant with major reservoir engineering tools and software such as ECLIPSE, IMEX. Kingdom, Petrel, and Jewel suites.
Position: Senior Production Technologist (Ref. F2)
Locations: Akwa Ibom State
Duties
- Will be responsible for field development planning and production operations enhancement activities; well completion, work over and production technique and optimise the integrated hydrocarbon production system, reporting to the Sub-Surface Director.
Specific Qualification
- A minimum of Second Class Upper Degree in Petroleum Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or Mathematics or Physical Sciences and at least 10 years experience (at least 5 years in Production Technology)
General Qualification
- All candidates must have excellent communications, organisational, well developed leadership, inter-personal problem solving and analytical skills plus knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite software.
