Vacancies: Webmaster, Help Desk Officer, System Officer
We are indigenous conglomerate with a wide variety of business interest which includes Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas and Trading. Due to Expansion we seek to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below in our Lagos and Nnewi offices:
Position: Webmaster – WM-006 (Lagos)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implements web pages, maintains content and oversees day-to-day management of the Group website, and assures and filing of webpages
- Responsibilities for the design of company webpages, including graphics, animation and functionality
- Develop web page infrastructure and application relates to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
- Monitors web server and site technical performance
Qualification/Qualities & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an information technology relates field
- Preferred Certifications: Web Developer Certification
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience. Not more than 35 years of age.
Position: Help Desk Officer – HDO-007 (Lagos)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing the first point of contact for the support of hardware and software problems,
- Provides first line maintenance and advice to users.
- Receive and log calls made to the helpdesk
- Provide a 1st line response ad where possible action a resolution or escalate to the appropriate technical personnel or service provider.
- Diagnose issues over the phone correctly and assign correct level of priority which may require the assignment of calls to other.
- Co-ordination, support and monitor request.
- This includes advising IT Staff with full responsibility for making sure all relevant deadlines are kept.
Qualification/Qualities & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an information technology related field.
- Have a good understanding of technologies associated with hardware/ software, operating systems, application layer, networks and client server relationships.
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience,
- Not more than 30 years of age.
Position: System Officer – SO-008 (Lagos)
Responsibilities
- Carry out any required maintenance of IT systems.
- Participate in the daily operations of IT within the group.
- Providing one to one training, support and advice to all IT users.
- Implement backup and virus protection procedures
Qualification/Qualities & Experience:
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an information technology related field
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience.
- Not more than 30 years of age.
