On behalf of our client a rapidly expanding Independent privately owned electric power generation company with distribution assets we are seeking a Chief Technical Officer (“CTO”)/Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) to be based in Nigeria.
Position: Chief Technical Officer/ Chief Operating Officer
Qualification and Job Description:
- Qualified and or Experienced in operating and building dual fueled electricity generating stations/ local distribution networks
- EPC experience of a dual fired power plant from concept development till completion
- Lead all the project development activities including land acquisition and regulatory clearances etc.
- Coordinating with public sector and liaison with regulatory bodies
- Essential quality shall be demonstrable execution skills and leading from “the front”. Completing projects within the budget and schedule. Assessing capital cost involved and execution with world clnass standards using project evaluation techniques and models.
- Fully aware of international codes/ standards and specifications
- Co-coordinating the procurement activities- tendering and bid management, estimations, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations etc.
- Identifying vendors on the basis of service, quality, handling negotiation, finalization and procurement of different equipments required.
- Operation and maintenance of day to day operations and supervise all division and department managers.
- Plant responsibility technical solution, delivery and workability; trouble shooting and emergency standards.
- Leading all technical interfacing decisions between, project technical scopes and ensure they are agreed, validated and integrated in schedule and budget. Leading / assigning all technical, tasks to the technical team.
Must Have:
Working know ledge of English Language
