Job Title: Mechanic Specialist-MCHSP
Location: Port Harcourt Base/Sites
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To carry out maintenance as planned by asset maintenance engineer on-site, Workshop Manager
- Manage mechanics assigned to him and promote Health and safety Consciousness among them
- Responsible for the management and deployments of Permit to Work system.
- Defining of task and responsibilities for team assigned to him. . Estimation of needed number of resources and their skills in order to meet milestones and targets.
- Plan maintenance activities and documentation of deliverables in order to meet schedule milestones considering design workflows and maintenance interfaces with all other disciplines and functions.
- Equipment in which he should be experienced are:
– Tower crane (Belleli.FM)
– Motor Compressor (Atlas Copco, Ingersoll-Rand)
– High Pressure water pump (VARISCO, PRATISSOLI, CERPELLI.SIKES)
– Hydraulic External/Internal line-up clamp
– Overhead crane (Puppinato, Stahl)
– Industrial machines such us; bending machine, plate rolling machine, hydraulic press, planning machine
– Hydraulic winch
Skills, Competence and Experience

Qualification
- Minimum 1 0 years experience as mechanic specialist.
- Knowledge of light duty vehicle, functionality and problem solving action plan in line with manufacturer recommendations.
- A Diploma in Mechanical technology/Engineering or a C&G certificate or its equivalent qualification.
Job Title: Automobile Technician / Mechanic-ATTMC
Location: Port Harcourt Base/Sites
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
- Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions-; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
- Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
- Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.
- Repairs and overhauls automobiles, buses, trucks, and other automotive vehicles: Examines vehicle and discusses with Workshop coordinator nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
- Plans work procedure, using charts, technical manuals, and experience.
- Raises vehicle, using hydraulic jack or hoist, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle.
- Removes unit, such as engine, transmission, or differential using wrenches and hoist.
- Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and thickness gauges.
- Repairs or replaces parts, such as pistons, rods, gears valves, and bearings, using mechanic’s hand tools.
- Overhauls or replaces carburetors, blowers, generators distributors, starters, and pumps.
- Rebuilds parts, such as crankshafts and cylinder blocks, using lathes, shapers, drill presses, and welding equipment.
- Re-allign and adjusts brakes, aligns front end, repairs or replaces shock absorbers, and solders leaks in radiator.

- Minimum 10 years experience as Mechanic Foreman.

- A Diploma in Mechanical Technology/Engineering or a C&G certificate.
