Vacancies: Production and Plant Supervisors, Plant Technicians
Lafarge Ready Mix (a subsidiary of Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria Plc) is looking for experienced, intelligent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
Position: Production and Plant Supervisors – (PPS 001)
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule equipment and manpower including drivers to meet daily requirements
- Identify raw material requirements
- Ensure plant is fit to produce quality products and liaise with maintenance department for both maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of both mobile equipment and plant
- Monitoring the production of Ready Mix Concrete
Candidate’s Profile:
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry
- 4-5 years experience in Asphalt or ready mix concrete production and concrete plant operation
Position: Plant Technicians – (PT 002)
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to maintain and repair batching plant with great mechanical experience.
- Understand electrical diagrams, able to identify and document modifications done in plant control systems.
- Be able to troubleshot, connect, replace electrical equipment i.e. weighing cells, sensors and electrical relays.
Candidate’s Profile:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 4-5 years experience in automated plants, production lines or concrete plants.
