Position:     VAS Products and Solutions Manager – WA

Requirement:

  • Minimum 8+ years of solution, project, and or change management of successfully delivery in support of sales and marketing
  • Business process design experience and Implementation
  • Ability to work in a multi- dimensional team with strong communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills;
  • Flexible approach to work in any environment
  • Industrial working experience is preferred.
  • Experience within the Telecommunications market and service delivery industry
  • Must be result oriented and ambitious and able to communicate across all levels of management

 

Job Description:

  • Translation of business requirements into infrastructure service developments and improvements
  • Solutions designer, application hosting and content delivery
  • Programme and Project Management and creating Executive Presentations
  • Management of third party relationships to help build and deliver technical, service and solution innovations
  • Contributing to the innovation of VAS services and products in the WA region
  • Creating and maintaining financial and budget plans

Requirements:

  • At least 10+ years experience in telecommunications, consulting and managed service
  • Strong background and work experience in Telecommunications and Consultancy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management style;
  • A commitment to high professional ethical standards working in a diverse workplace;
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices;
  • Good leadership with vision in managing a diverse group of staff and major project initiatives across several WA regions.
  • Experience in deploying and optimizing VAS systems for multiple vendors, and interact with Marketing, IT, O and M, NOC etc;
  • Experience in Operation and Maintenance of all VAS platforms and charging systems including the deployment of new services;
  • Good reporting skills (written and verbal) to senior management and stakeholders across regional boundaries

Job Description:

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and polices in support of organizations vision support better management reporting, information dissemination and management, business process and organizational planning
  • Have a good understanding of VAS (Value Added Service) across different operator platforms:
  • Governance of Managed Services for VAS;
  • Take the lead in the implementation of any VAS platform on Telco Operator platforms
  • Ensure VAS services are implemented within allocated budgets
  • Ensure the QOS (quality of standard) is maintained after VAS is launched
  • Collate handover documentation for any new service to VAS O and M
  • Propose optimization of existing and new services provided through VASP
  • Keep abreast with technological advancement within VAS service
  • Supervising service and subscriber migrations on VAS platforms
  • Acceptance of new hardware and service deployed on VAS platforms
  • Perform market research and analysis, design marketing plan including product, content, channel, and promotions plans, and monitor, report, and continuously seek to improve business performance of VAS service
  • Vendor Management, interaction and excellent negotiation skills.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience in a similar role
  • ITILv2/3 Certified-Service Delivery Manager (Foundation / Practitioner);
  • A very good knowledge of service delivery in the telecommunications sector.

Job Description:

  • Good understanding of how service management supports the business needs and the specialist, needs of the external customer;
  • Experience of working with operations and operation support groups;
  • A good strong working knowledge of business processes and procedures;
  • A good working knowledge of end to end development process;
  • Strong customer focus;
  • Analytical thinking and a proven track record of high quality improvements;
  • Thorough knowledge of applications and processes used within the business;

  • Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable
  • Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently
  • Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, (word, excel and PowerPoint)

  • Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written
  • Must be ready for international project to the other African countries
