Vacancies: Senior Librarian, Library Officer
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the non -teaching vacancies in the following Departments/ units of the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
University Library Unit
Position: Senior Librarian (CONUASS 4)
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess at least a Masters degree in Library science (MLS) from a recognized university with six (6) years cognate experience with evidence of scholarly publication in both national and international reputable , learned journals.
- Membership of the Librarian Registration council of Nigeria is also required.
Position: Library Officer (CONTISS 6)
Qualification
Candidates should possess National Diploma (ND) in Library and Information Science from a recognized institution.
Notes
i) All candidates must possess either NYSC Discharge certificate or exemption certificate or certificate of exclusion where applicable
ii) Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved salary scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria
iii) Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply
iv) Computer literacy is required for all cadres listed above

xvi) Names, addresses, GSM numbers and e-mail addresses of three referees who shall include his/her current boss or Head of Department, one who must attest to his character and another who will speak on his professional/ academic competence.
