Vacancies: Team Leader (Quantity Survey), Company Accountant
Our client, an Abuja based Group of Companies with subsidiaries in Construction, Oil & Gas, and ICT requires competent Team Leaders in some of their key positions as a result of expansion.
Position: Team Leader (Quantity Survey)
Core Essentials
- Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
- Negotiate and draw up bids for tenders and contracts
- Monitor each stage of construction to make sure that costs are in line with forecasts
- Provide financial progress reports to clients
- Advise clients on legal and contractual matters
- Assess the financial costs of new environmental guidelines, for example, on the use of timber from sustainable supplies
- Prepare in-house estimates, derive cost, evaluate variation order and analyze financial bids.
Qualification:
- First degree, specialized second degree an added advantage.
- Professional Membership of relevant Institutes, Attendance of Conferences.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years experience, with the last 5 spent in Managerial Level, exposure to and supervision of large projects.
Position: Company Accountant
Core Essentials:
- Financial Management

- Internal Control Budgets/Accounts
- Taxes
Competencies:
- Principles and practice of Government financial regulatory and operation
- General Accepted Accounting Principles
- Government Accounting Standard Board requirements
- Sales tax and payroll tax laws
- Federal and State laws and regulations
- Pension, VAT, NHIS, mortgages and other contributory schemes
- Professional Software tools to aid Board / Team members, Sub Contractors and Clients Presentations
Qualification:
- ACA / CPA / ACCA + First Degree.
- A second degree in another discipline an added advantage.
- Attendance of Professional Conferences, Seminars and Workshops.
Experience: 10 years with the last 5 in similar position.
