Position: Corporate Finance Advisory Associate Director

 

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

 

Overview

  • Candidates will act as a partner in ownership and development of our business and our people with a focus on Corporate Finance Advisory
  • Candidates will, along with other partners have primary accountability for all client relationship and engagements, developing the business strategy and making operational decisions to execute against it

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Role specific responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse team of talented financial advisors
  • Pursues, creates and cultivates client relationships
  • Develop relationships within Deloitte Network regionally and globally and make significant contributions to cross-border efforts and pursuits
  • Plan for and monitor business development activities to deliver against targets
  • Plan for and guide practice growth and development initiatives

 

 

People Management

  • Guide the development and delivery of training programs
  • Actively promote a coaching culture including people performance metrics for all senior practitioners in your team

 

 

Knowledge Sharing/Documentation

  • Guide practitioners in using available knowledge networks to extract relevant information for projects
  • Ensure all project qualifications, deliverables from projects are contributed to global knowledge database
  • Set targets for and promote gathering, documentation and sharing of lessons learned from each project

 

 

Qualifications:

Education

  • To be successful in this role, candidates must have completed a Masters degree with outstanding academic credentials and business focus

 

 

Type of Experience

10-15 years of significant and work experience with a professional services firm

 

Other Qualifications       

  • AC A, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or other equivalent designation
  • Proven ability to manage and people arid projects; and the professional services business
  • Strong brand in West and Central Africa marketplace especially in Nigeria

 

 

Position: M&A Transaction Service Manager

 

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

 

  • Candidates will have primary accountability for leading team members and guiding them through the full client engagement life cycle with a focus on M&A Transaction Services in a wide range of situation industries.
  • Candidates will also be responsible for coaching junior practitioners in their growth and making significant contributions to financial advisory business development initiatives

 

 

Role specific responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse team of talented financial advisors with complete accountability for delivering or engagements
  • Pursue, creates and cultivates client relationship
  • Take ownership of business development activities and deliver against targets
  • Leverage your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a business advisor

 

 

People Management

  • Lead the development and deli training programs
  • Actively coach and support development of junior team me

 

 

Knowledge Sharing/Document

  • Guide practitioners in using available knowledge networks to extract information for projects
  • Ensure all project qualifications, deliverables from projects are contributed to global knowledge database
  • Lead gathering, documentation sharing of lessons learned from each project

 

 

Qualification:

Education

  • Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials and business focus
  • A Master degree in finance will be an added advantage

 

Type of Experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience

 

Other Qualifications

  • ACA. ACCA, CFA, or other equivalent designation
  • Strong external advisory or consulting experience
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, mergers and acquisitions, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership
