Position: Deputy Director of Works
Job Description:
The Deputy Director of works is a management position in the University and responsible to the Director of Works for the day to day administration and management of the Works facilities in the University.
Qualifications
- A good honours degree in Engineering as well as professionally registered qualification e.g. COREN but with twelve (12) years post qualification.
Position: Deputy Bursar
Job Description:
The Deputy Bursar is an Officer of the University and responsible to the Bursar for the day to day administration and control of the Financial affairs of the University
Qualifications
- A good honours degree in Accounting as well as professionally recognized Accounting qualification e.g. ICAN, CNA, ACCA, ACA. ICMA. Possession of a higher degree will be an advantage
- with 15years post qualification/Cognate experience.
(12) twelve years of experience must have been in managerial positions including Chief Accountant in a University or similar institution.
Position: Deputy Director of Physical Planning
Job Description:
The Deputy Director of Physical Planning is a management position in the University and responsible to the Director of Physical Planning for the day to day administration and management of the Physical Planning facilities in the University.
Qualifications
- A good honours degree in Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying as well as a professional qualification e.g. COREN (and relevant professional qualification for others). Possession of a higher degree will be an advantage.
- PLUS: with at least twelve (12) years experience at least five (5) of which must have been as a Deputy Director/Managerial positions in the University setting or similar institute.
Condition of Service
For the post of Directors the successful candidate shall hold office for a single term of eight (8) years only on such terms and conditions applicable to Federal Universities in Nigeria and as may be determined by the appropriate University laws and Governing Council.

For the post of Deputy Director and Deputy Bursar, the successful candidate shall hold office on such terms and conditions applicable to Federal Universities in Nigeria and as may be determined by the appropriate University laws and the Governing Council.
