The anticipated SIDHAS (Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services) Project, The goals of this project are to provide quality HI V/AIDS services throughout Nigeria (including anti-retroviral treatments) and expand the capacity of the public and private sectors to sustain these services, enhancing the quality of services at national, state, and local levels and demonstrating increased leveraging of funding from the Government of Nigeria as well as other sources. This project will include a component to develop benchmarks to monitor and evaluate this expanded capacity of the health system to coordinate, support, deliver, and monitor quality HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and laboratory services

Position:     Director, Health Systems Strengthening

Location: Abuja

Qualification:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in public health or other relevant field.
  • Minimum of 7 years senior-level, relevant public health experience in health systems strengthening and interventions in HIV/AIDS. Demonstrated leadership and management skills: experience supervising senior staff.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in providing technical support and/or capacity building to government institutions in leadership, and management or governance; demonstrated ability to develop linkages with other organizations, including the private sector
  • Proven experience with management and monitoring of development programs in the health arena
  • Strong understanding of interventions in health systems strengthening. Excellent, conceptualization, facilitation, planning and mentoring skills.

Position: Associate Director, Monitoring & Evaluation

Location: Abuja

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in public health, demography, sociology, statistics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years monitoring and evaluation experience in on internationally funded health programs, preferably those dealing with HIV/AIDS issues.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experiences to identify and evaluate best practices and states-of-the-art approaches to be utilized by SIDHAS.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills for reporting on program and study results.
  • Proficiency in evaluation design and development of indicators. Good working knowledge of descriptive, inferential, and advanced statistics. Ability to obtain, analyze, and interpret data and present findings in oral and written form
