Position: Trade Centre Officer

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform documentary verification and analytical processing of trade documents based on company rules and business
• Check the completeness and validity of information in the documents based on trade knowledge and expertise
• Work with the team to ensure achievement of productivity, quality and services delivery targets in a back-office function.
• Adhere to Quality Management Systems (QMS), work processes and procedures, Company’s policies and codes of conduct.

Reporting: Operations Manager and Team Supervisor

Profile

• With university degree level or equivalent qualification (e.g. B.Sc/HND) in the following fields:
• Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology
• Electronics and Electrical Engineering
• Economics, Statistics, Accountancy, Banking and Finance
• Business Administration and Management courses a Trade experience in import/export procedures and trade documentation
• Foreign language skills, an advantage

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Computer literate (familiar with MS Window applications) and other software applications
• Detail and results oriented
• Can work on weekend and on rotation shift basis
• Detail and results-oriented

• Act quickly and decisively, works well under pressure
• Experience of managing and leading teams, an advantage
