Vacancies: Assistant Director, Chief Network Administrator

Voice of Nigeria, the Sole  External Radio Broadcasting  Station arm of the  Federal Government  of  Nigeria with its Corporate  Headquarters in Abuja and  key operational stations  in Ikoyi and  Ikorodu, Lagos in an effort to keep abreast with the  ever emergent developments in digital broadcasting  require suitably qualified  candidates to fill the  positions below in the  information Technology Department of the Corporation.

 

Position: Assistant Director, (Information Technology) G/L. 15

Job Description:

Reports to the Director of Information Technology, Supervise subordinate staff, configure site to site, VPN active directory, and wireless architecture. The Applicant must have excellent Know edge of Cisco Routers, and configuration of network management switches.

Candidates must have experience in windows 2003 and 2008 server Active Directories (LAN & wan Architecture), VON uses IP phones-(grand stream types), candidate for this post must also : experience in VOIP phones.

 

Qualifications

  • Applicants must possess B.sc/B, Tech-in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of fifteen years cognate experience or M.sc  in Computer  Science/Engineering minimum of 15 years cognate experience, preferably from Telecom industries.
  • Certification in CCNAS CCNP, CCIE, MCP, MCSE & UNIX/LINUX will be an added advantage.

 

Position: Chief Network Administrator G/L14

 

Job Description:

Reports to the Assistant Director of Information Technology, Supervises subordinate staff, manage system network, configure Router, NAT and VIOP Check Network connections from Remote locations and on site.

 

Qualification

  • Applicant must possess B.sc/B. Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engineering with a  minimum of fourteen years cognate experience  or M.sc in Computer Science/engineering  with minimum of twelve years cognate experience.
  • Certification in CCNAS CCNP, CCIE, MCP, MCSE & UNIX/LINUX will be an added advantage.
