Job Profile:

This is an Assistant/Deputy Manager position reporting to the Deputy Director, Administration. The Chief Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring safety and security of SFH staff members and assets in all locations. S/He will ensure that SFH premises, vehicles and assets are safe, well fortified in terms of fire safety and free from hazards. The candidate will ensure that a high level of procedural purity is in place at all SFH’s premises, including access control, visitor protocols, key management etc. S/He will actively develop and maintain security influence networks with stakeholders attend and contribute to external security networks. S/He will ensure consistent incident reporting from all locations and identify the learning needs of SFH employees in relations to safety and security matters.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

  • Must be educated to a degree level or relevant certification in relevant field e.g. Sociology, Criminology or Psychology. Masters degree in related field is added advantage.
  • Must possess a minimum of six (6) years practical experience in military, police or Para-military outfits.
  • Must possess strong self-drive, excellent leadership skills, ability to build relationships.
  • Must possess excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision with high level of integrity and responsibility.
  • Skills with risk appraisal and mitigation will be critical to this position.

 

Position: Deputy Manager, Affordable Medicines for Malaria (AMFm)-Abuja   Ref email to: dmamfmabj@sfhnigeria.org

Job Profile:

Reporting to the Director GF Malaria, the successful candidate will coordinate all programmatic activities and provide guidance to implementing parties on issues such as validation of the first line buyers, monitoring all AMFm programme implementation processes, proposing regulatory changes where required for AMFm, and will be responsible for general communication on the AMFm (e.g. launch timing, sources of ACTs, pricing, any relevant policy/ regulatory changes). S/He will participate in the advocacy of AMFm at both national and international levels. Successful candidate will represent SFH and provide appropriate feedback as a member of the AMFm secretariat and the task force. Finally, the successful candidate will provide appropriate support tailoring it to SFH perspective to the key stakeholders through the process of AMFm roll-out in Nigeria.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

  • Must possess a first degree in any Health/Behavioural/Social Sciences or related field.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a minimum of six (6) years post NYSC experience in related field.
  • Must be computer literate and have above average skills in Excel based budget tracking
  • Desirable experience in malaria project management.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
