Commercial Manager, Production Supervisor in an Indigenous E&P Company

Vacancies: Commercial Manager, Production Supervisor

Our Client, a wholly owned Indigenous E&P Company, operating from its own l0, 00bbls crude processing station (Flow station), is currently expanding its operations and consequently looking to recruit strategic and positive minded individuals to fill the following positions in Lagos/Delta State.

 

Position: Commercial Manager

Role Summary:

Responsible for company’s commercial transactions.

 

Major Accountabilities:

Ensure pre-contract commercial matters, including tender preparation and approvals are in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensure effective and compliant post-contract commercial management and control of contracts, with commercial entitlement pursued, maximizing opportunities and minimizing threats.

 

Competencies:

  • Able to develop and apply effective commercial strategy in bidding, negotiation and contracts management especially in the O&G industry.

Qualification:

  • A good class of degree in Business, Commercial or Engineering
  • 10 years post qualification experience with at least 5 years in a similar position preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • MBA or additional qualification will be an advantage.

 

Position: Production Supervisor

Role Summary:

Coordinates, monitor, directs and control production activities in wells, flow stations and shipment while maximally optimizing their performance/productivity

 

Major Accountabilities:

  • Provide effective supervision of all field production and shipment equipment to ensure that the facilities are maintained in a timely manner and at optimum conditions all the time.
  • Ensuring Company’s production and shipment targets are met in accordance with best oilfield practices.

 

Competencies

  • Possess the ability to efficiently collate and evaluate crude production and injection figures.
  • Attention to details; Interpersonal skills; good cost management abilities, integrity, leadership skills; problem solving skills, and the relevant technical knowledge.

 

Qualification:

  • A good degree in B.Eng./Tech in Petroleum, Mechanical, Reservoir Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years post professional Engineering qualification experience in continuous oil and gas field production with 3 years as a supervisor
