Position: Procurement Officer
Job Summary:
The procurement officer is responsible for the purchase of goods and services for the company. He/she will help approve the best products or services while ensuring that corporate, governmental and ethical policies are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement.
- Coordinate the preparation of the procurement documents.
- Developing and maintaining a preferred database.
- Developing and maintaining a reporting system for contractors.
- Facilitating expenditure reviews to identify opportunities /add valve through improved procurement.
- Establishing and maintaining a contact register.
Required Knowledge/ Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics or any field of Engineering.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- High level of individual initiative, planning and good judgement.
- Strong decision making skills
- Concentration, accuracy and ability to pay attention to details required.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of two (2) years posts graduation experience.
Position: Senior Mud Engineer
Job Summary:
The Senior Mud Engineer, will be a lead drilling engineer responsible for the preparation, execution and reporting of well operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company to execute drilling fluids engineering, its practices and philosophy
- Will work as the engineer and sales representative on the drilling rig; liaising with customers, company representatives in proffering engineering solutions
- Developing well designs for drilling , completions and work-over fluids.
- Provision of on-site services under general supervision of testing, measuring and supervising the operation of fluid pumping and mixing.
- Provision of effective customer service by giving coordinators and rig site customer information related to the progress of a rig site. In addition to creating and implementing various rig site problems.
- Provide constant support to aid operations in providing customers the most efficient, environmentally safe drilling fluids that are available.
- Maintain a daily record of Drilling and Completion Fluid properties, costs and performance.
- Provide a detailed end of well Cost Reconciliation of Drilling & Completions Fluids and Completion Fluid Products.
Required Knowledge/Skill/Education:
- Must have a 1st Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Geology and reasonable knowledge of drilling procedures.
- Must have good functional and technical skill.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and good team working skill required.
- Must possess a strong decision making skill.
- A minimum of Ten (10) years working experience ; with seven (7) years as a Lead Engineer.
Position: Inventory Analyst
Job Summary:
The inventory analyst is responsible for monitoring and implementing of procedures to ensure proper inventory management in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure accuracy.
- Coordinate a cycle count in a perpetual inventory environment.
- Investigate document inventory discrepancies using all available research to identify root causes and proffer possible solutions.
- Monitor special order returns.
- Keep day to day record of all items. Maintain records of quality, type and values of materials in stock in a proficient computerized manner.
Required Knowledge/Skill/Education:
- Must have a 1st degree in Accounting or Economics and Statistics
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and independently solve business problems.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient with the use of Excel and other Inventory softwares.
- Three (3) -Five (5) years experience in supply chain, distribution, financial, warehouse and inventory or merchandising analysis.
