UNIVERSITY LIBRARY

Position: Senior Librarian (CONUASS 04)

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates for this position must possess a good honours degree with minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) in the Sciences or Humanities from a recognized and accredited University plus Masters (MLS or MLIS) degree in Library and Information Science plus a minimum or six (6) years Post Qualification Experience.
• Candidates must be Computer Literate and have a good understanding of ICT Application to Library functions He/ she must show evidence of research ability through Publications in relevant Peer-Reviewed Journals in Library and Information Science.

Position: Library II (CONUASS 02)

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates for this position must possess a good honours degree with minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) in the Sciences or Humanities plus MLS or MLIS or equivalent obtained from an accredited University or a Master’s degree plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Science.

Position:  Library Officer (CONTISS 06)

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates must possess Diploma in Library Studies obtained from a recognized University.
• Candidates must also possess Credit in five (5) Subjects including English Language at the GCE/SSCE or equivalent.
• Computer literacy and knowledge / application of ICT to the functions of the Library are essential requirements.
