In line with its transformation and expansion drive, focused on the retail segment of the Nigerian market and geared towards strengthening its operations for competitiveness and deeper market penetration, the Bank is seeking to recruit exceptional, highly motivated and energetic individuals to fill the position of Relationship Managers for its regional operations.

 

Position: Relationship Managers:

 

Location: Abuja (ES0041A), Lagos (ES0041L) and Port Harcourt (ES004P)

 

The successful candidates will be responsible for growing the market and customer base as well as achieving profitability targets set for the branch through leadership of sales activities, operations management and policy implementation. Specific responsibilities include to:

  • Grow low cost liability and tenured deposits, acquire new business and retain existing relationships.
  • Coordinate all branch’s business development and marketing efforts towards attracting new customers and developing the customer portfolio.
  • Supervise the provision of services to existing and potential customers interested in new deposit, account relationship and local business.
  • Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships.
  • Supervise all branch staff to ensure prompt delivery of customer service and resolution of all customer complaints.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution. Relevant professional qualifications or an MBA will be an advantage.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ banking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry/environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the Banking Regulatory provisions as well as relevant operating sector guidelines.
  • Proven track record in credit origination and low cost deposit mobilisation.
