The governing Council of the College hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the Vacancy for the post of College Provost. The Provost is the Chief Executive of the College who is responsible for the General administration of the College, Managing the College finances and all other Administrative and Academic activities.

 

The Tenure of the office of the Provost is for an initial period of four (4) years and is renewable for a second term of four years and final. The Provost is responsible to the Governing Council for the day to day running of the College.

Qualification:

  • Applicants for the post should have at least attained the rank of Senior Lecturer in a University or Chief Lecturer in any recognized tertiary institution with a minimum qualification of Masters Degree. Added qualifications will be an advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities and specific roles are clearly spelt out in the College Scheme of Service.

 

Remuneration:

  • The post of the Provost of the College attracts Grade level 15 on consolidated salary of academic staff and other fringe benefits and entitlements as provided in the College condition of Service.

Interested and suitably qualified candidates should forward their applications together with twenty (20) copies of detailed Curriculum Vitae stating among others: qualifications, working experience, present employment and rank, State, Local Government of origin and three referees.

 

Candidates will be requested to produce the originals of their certificates and other credentials during the interview.
