The Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) is a strategic intervention initiative of the Rivers State Government of Nigeria set up by law. It is currently implementing the Workmanship Technical Training Centre (WTTC) located at Bori, Rivers State in Nigeria, and another initiative of the Rivers State Government. WTTC is a world-class technical and vocational training centre pursuing accreditation from London City and Guilds and NABTEC Nigeria. It is designed to produce high quality intermediate/medium level technical manpower in different skill field. The centre therefore requires the services of experienced and qualified manpower in core areas
Position: Nurse/First Aider
Reference Indicator: NR/WTTC
Job Objective(s)
- To ensure that all injured persons within the Centre vicinity gets first aid treatment promptly
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To always exhibit sound knowledge and good understanding of first aid practices.
Job Requirements
- Education: General Nursing Certificate (R/N) or Occupational Health Nursing Certificate.
Experience:
- 5 years post graduation relevant experience in an industrial establishment or clinic
Position: Internal Verifier
Reference Indicator: IV/WTTC
Job Objective(s)
- To meet City & Guilds IVQ in Assessment criteria
- To design, develop WTTC internal Verification system of assessment monitoring
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaises with teaching staff with the objective of progressing the trainee/student to the desired level of competence as set out in the City & Guilds IVQ Scheme.
Job Requirements
- Education: B.Sc Industrial/Technical Education.
Experience:
- 5 years post graduation experience in teaching within a technical/vocational institution and an understanding of vocational competences and teaching methodology.
Position: Librarian

- To maintain the WTTC Resource Centre
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To devise ways of providing a cohesive student booking/operating internet system.
Job Requirements
- Education: B.Sc/BA in Library Science.
Experience:
- 5 years post graduation experience in a similar position.
