Position: Asphalt Plant Manager [WFM007]
The Role:
The primary role of the Asphalt Plant Manager is to plan, direct and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing hot mix asphalt and aggregate products in accordance with cost, quality and quantity specifications.
The Asphalt Plant Manager will be required to manage all aspects of the asphalt plants, directing production methods/controls; maintenance and related operations; ensuring facilities have resources and support to achieve production objectives; evaluating existing operations for improvement opportunities in planning, processing, equipment utilization, cost reduction, etc; assisting with planning and budgeting.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent or higher, in Civil Engineering or any equivalent course
- Minimum of 8 years practical experience managing multiple asphalt plants/ or road construction operations.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt production equipment, Processes and procedures
- An uncompromising focus on safety excellence with proven safety certifications Proven track record of production efficiency and cost reduction through improved mix designs
- Strong Communication, Analytical, Managerial, Leadership and Organizational skills
- Strong project management and planning skills
Position: Concrete Batching Plant Manager [WFM008]
The Role:
The role is responsible for mixing ingredients to make concrete, transporting mixed concrete, maintaining and cleaning the batch plant, silos, mixer and mixer trucks and ensuring that mixed concrete are available per time without any wastage. An in-depth understanding of all aspects of ready-mix concrete production standards and managing a fleet of concrete trucks is a mandatory requirement to be successful in this role.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent or higher in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of working experience in the related field is required, at least 3-4 years of actual experience managing a concrete batch plant is mandatory.
- Must have thorough knowledge of and be capable of operating all equipment and machinery used in ready mix concrete production and delivery
- Must be able to apply training, experience and/or business principles to manage day-to-day business activities
- Must be able to apply principles of basic algebra, geometry and shop math to calculate variables such as inventory, moisture content and preparation of daily reports.
- Must be able to read and understand operations manuals, equipment Instructions, safely rules, etc, and write reports and communicate with management and subordinates to solve problems, provide instruction, etc.
