Olashore International School (OIS), a private, coeducational boarding school in Iloko-Ijesa, Osun State is seeking applications from suitable candidates for the following vacant positions.
Position: Senior Nurses

Role Summary
The senior nurses will support the medical doctor in providing health services for students and staff in the school. They will provide health services as necessary and provide health education to students and staff to prevent serious health problems. They are keen to share best practice with their colleagues whilst remaining open to new ideas.
Qualification/ Experience
- Minimum 5 Credits in WASSCE including English & Mathematics.
- Double qualifications (i.e. Nursing and Paediatrics)
- Registration by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria NMCN.
- Possession of the current license to practice, issued by the NMCN
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a respected boarding school in Nigeria.
- Basic level of computer literacy.
Position: Senior House Parents (Male and Female)

Role Summary
Senior House Parents are experienced hostel parents who provide exceptional care and guidance for the children in their hostel outside of academic activities. They will have demonstrated the ability to develop positive, appropriate relationships with students to help each child reach their full potential. They will take a lead role in all non-academic activities in the school, They are keen to share national and international best practice with their colleagues whilst remaining open to new ideas.
Qualification/Experience:
- Minimum 5 Credits in WASSCE including English & Mathematics
- Minimum of a first degree in education or in the humanities.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a house parent in a respected boarding school in Nigeria
- Basic level of computer literacy.
- Evidence of a commitment to the extra-curricular life of a full boarding school
- Ability to offer sport/music coaching would be an advantage
The ideal candidates will work closely with the Principal and members of the
Schools executive Management Team and must possess:
- Excellent Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- A high level of personal sensitivity and professional skill in dealings with students, parents, teaching staff, support staff colleagues and all other contacts
- The attributes of Integrity, conscientiousness, adaptability and optimism
- The quality of an enthusiastic (earner who is open to novel ideas, approaches and new ways of working.
- Good team spirit and also participate as a team member in accomplishment of duties.
- Strong ability to co-ordinate, proritise and organize workload; take initiative and work under pressure
- Strength and judgment for decision-making
- Ability to build and maintain effective/professional working relationships across the school and with external stakeholders of the school
- Should be willing to live within the school
