Vacancies: Safety Officer, Occupational Health Nurse

We are a dynamic, indigenous total end to end logistics solution provider company with affiliate in the UK also involved in Oil and gas trading, international oil and gas equipment procurement, supplies and operations in the downstream sector of the Nigerian economy. Vacancies now exist for blight, self-motivated and exceptional Individuals to fill the positions below:

Position:     Safety Officer

Location: Delta State

 

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for all safety activities in the oil and gas terminal. Co-ordinates fire drill, attends relevant committee meeting Disseminate information. Design, develop and conduct safety and environmental training programs etc.

Qualification:

  • First degree in science related programs. Post graduate qualifications added advantage.
  • Preferably B.Sc chemical engineering or B.ENG PETROLEUM, or environmental engineering. Plus HSE certifications. NEBOSH Certification added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with oil and gas background. Especially oil and gas terminal operations.

Position:     Occupational Health Nurse

 

Location: Delta State

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all health issues. Arrange for any necessary medical examination. Arrange for proper medical attention and evacuation for all employees were necessary. Renders first aid treatment. Be responsible for maintaining compliance with the disease vector control program. In conjunction with the safety officer maintain good housekeeping at the tank farm Stop any unsafe act and make report promptly to line head.

 

Qualification:

  • Certification in Nursing with specialization in occupational health.
  • Minimum of years experience as a practicing nurse in government general hospital or teaching hospital. Two of those years must be in occupational health practice.
