Minimum Qualification:

  • Degree

 

Required Experience:

  • 5 – 7 years

Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales and  labour costs.
  • Achieve maximum profitability and over-all success by controlling costs and quality of service.
  • Participation and input towards F & B Marketing activities.
  • Control of Banquet china, cutlery, glassware, linen and equipment.
  • Completion of function delivery sheets in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Help in preparation of forecast and actual budget function sheets.
  • To supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service.
  • Completion of Banquet Bar Requisitions.
  • Maintaining the Hotel Bar control policies and completion of necessary forms.
  • Following of proper purchasing and requisitioning procedures.
  • Attendance and participation of weekly F & B meeting and Department Head meeting.
  • To assist in menu planning and pricing.
  • Maintain records for inventory, labour cost, food cost etc.
  • Consistent check of Banquet Food and Beverage quality, Banquet services and Plate presentation.
  • Ensuring that services meet customer specifications.
  • Liaise on an on-going basis with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure all client needs and requirements will be met.
  • Work with the Chef and Head Server to ensure all arrangements and details are dealt with.
  • Greet the customer upon arrival.
  • Provide quick service for last minute changes.
  • Check Food & Beverage or coffee Break schedule if applicable.
  • Dealing with customer complaints.
  • Inspection of Meeting Room prior to guest arrival ensuring that client specifications have been met.
  • Co-ordinate the general housekeeping of the Ballroom, Lower Lobby, Lower public washrooms, kitchen, storage areas, entrance areas, etc.
  • Staff training and development

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Hotel Management
  • At least five (5) years practical experience in the hospitality industry
  • Specialize on both local and intercontinental dishes
  • Must have sound knowledge of food & beverage products
  • Must have refined skills in public relations
  • Must have Typing skills, Windows XP, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Must have knowledge on Micros I/T application. (This is a must)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Position: Laundry Hand
Location:  Lagos
Industry: Hospitality/Leisure

Minimum Qualification:

  • WASC/GCE/NECO

 

Required Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years

Responsibilities:

  • Collect dirty clothes ad beddings used by guests and prepare for washing.
  • Separate the colored from white ones. Put marks or place in each containers according to owners to avoid misplacements.
  • Wash the dirty clothes in washing machines.
  • Dry the washed clothes before transferring to the ironing area.
  • Iron and fold dried clothes and deploy to the designated rooms or areas.
  • Assist customers with their laundry problem such as stains and faded colors.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area.

 

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Knowledge in hotel services especially in preparing and washing guest’s and hotel laundry.
  • Knowledge and skills in washing, ironing and folding clothes and other hotel sheets.
  • Ability to collect loads of laundry and wash it according to color and type of cloth.
  • Ability to wash out stains and keep the brightness of its color
  • Knowledge in operating big washing, drying and folding machines.
  • Must be courteous to guests.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge on laundry documentation.

 

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Minimum of WASC/GCE/NECO. in not more than two sittings (inclusive of Mathematics and English Language)
  • At least 2 – 5 years practical experience in the hospitality industry

 

 

Position: Facility Manager 

Location: Lagos 

Industry:  Hospitality/Leisure

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the operations of our residence equipment and systems and implement effective maintenance schedule required to ensure their efficiency, improvement and expansions
  • Apply professional skills to monitor the purchase, use and inventories of spear parts, maintenance supplies, and equipments and initiate reordering when necessary
  • Track, analyze and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, schedule compliance etc.
  • Source and recommend experienced service providers and ensure timely and successful completion of projects and system set up
  • Directs contractors as needed to achieve compliance with applicable regulations and to complete needed investigation of and repair to utilities
  • Oversee the completion and submission of required monitoring reports and operating permits to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained and equipped to deliver maintenance services in a safe, timely and cost effective manner at the residence
  • Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program, health and environmental policies and procedures
  • Direct Budget preparation and monitor compliance with budget changes-when necessary
  • Maintain and ensure effective use of maintenance workshop equipment

 

Skills Specifications:

  • B Sc. in Electrical Engineering
  • 7-15 years hands-on experience and working knowledge/ skills of basic fields (Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing) in the hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
  • Communication – Effective written and verbal communication skills that conveys information effectively.
  • Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
