Reservoir Engineer, Procurement Officer in an Indigenous E&P Company

Vacancies: Reservoir Engineer, Procurement Officer

Our Client, a wholly owned indigenous E&P Company, operating from its own l0, 00bbls crude processing station (Flow station), is currently expanding its operations and consequently looking to recruit strategic and positive minded individuals to fill the following positions in Lagos/Delta State.

 

Position: Reservoir Engineer

 

Role Summary:  

Provide reservoir engineering Support to support to Company’s technical/operational activities, and to ensure sound and prudent reservoir management practices in line with local and international oil field standards.

 

Major Accountabilities:

  • Continually provide reservoir engineering support during drilling, completion, work over and through-tubing operations.
  • Carry out regular reservoir and wells production performance studies with a view to recommending optimum reservoir management strategies for enhanced productivity

 

Competencies:

  • Strong reservoir simulation and planning skills
  • Proficient in use geological related software

 

Qualification:

  • A good degree in B.Eng./Tech in Petroleum Engineering from a reputable institution
  • 5 years post professional Engineering  qualification experience with at least 3 years which should have been spent ma similar position preferably tn the Oil and Gas Industry

 

Position: Procurement Officer

 

Role Summary:

Responsible for the procurement of goods and services required for effective and efficient running of the organization and in fulfillment of best practices

 

Major Accountabilities:

  • Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, quotation, tender and request for proposal.
  • Work with staff, vendors and inch-meal experts in preparing specifications for quotations, tenders, proposals and supply agreements in a clear and concise manner.

 

Competencies

  • Widespread knowledge of Procurement, buying strategies. Commercial & Contracts in the oil and gas Industry
  • Possess negotiation, interpersonal, organizational and sourcing skills

 

Qualification:

  • B.Sc. in Business, Commercial or Engineering with a minimum of 2.1
  • 3-5 years’ experience with at least 2years’ experience preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Experience using SAP will be an advantage
