Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the following teaching staff positions in the University of Uyo, Uyo
Position: Technologist I: Salary – CONTISS 8 (N682, 547 00 – N1, 008, 831.00)
The candidate for the post must possess
- a good Bachelor of Science (B.Sc/HND in Science Laboratory Technology or relevant professional qualification registrable with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) in any of the following disciplines: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physiology, Agric/Food Engineering (Soil and Water Option), Music, Geo-informatics & Urban & Regional Planning, Vocational Education (Automobile Works, Welding Fabrication, Wood Building Technology, Elect/Elect Tech.), plus at least 3 years working experience as Technologist U and must be registered with NISLT at a level not below Associate membership grade.
Position: Senior Technologist: Salary- CONTISS 9 (N788.784.00-l ,142,410.00
Qualification:
- a good Bachelor of Science (B.Sc/HND in Science Laboratory Technology or relevant professional qualification registrable with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) in any of the following disciplines: Architecture, Anatomy, Community Health, Computer Engineering, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Physiology, Surgery, Zoology, plus at least 6 years relevant working experience as Science Laboratory Technologist and must be registered with NISLT at a grade not below Associate. The candidate for the Anatomy Laboratory must possess the above qualification with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in Anatomy Laboratory.
