Vacancies: Technologist I, Senior Laboratory Technology, Chief Laboratory Technologist
The Kogi State University, which came into existence in 1999, has recently established a Faculty of Medicine, following the full accreditation of all the academic programmes in the present six Faculties. The establishment of a Faculty of Medicine is thus part of the planned expansion and growth of the University to meet the needs of Kogi State and Nigeria in the centuries ahead.
Consequently, the University intends to recruit suitably qualified academic staff to facilitate the smooth take-off and orderly growth of the Faculty and the University in general.
Position: Technologist I
Requirement
- Applicants should have HND in Science Laboratory Technology or final Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology registerable with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology.
- He or she must have served as a Technologist II for 4 years. A working experience in an Anatomy, pharmacology or Physiology laboratory is an added advantage.
Position: Senior Laboratory Technology
Requirements
- A Holder of HND Science Laboratory Technology registered with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology.
- He or She must have served as Technologist I for a minimum of 4 years.
- A working experience in an Anatomy, pharmacology or Physiology Laboratory is an added advantage.
Position: Chief Laboratory Technologist
Requirements
- HND Science Laboratory Technology with 4 years as Assistant Chief Technologist. Must have track record of leadership capabilities, proficiency in basic computer software application, and a working experience in an Anatomy, pharmacology or Physiology Laboratory are added advantage.
Salary and Allowance:
Salary and allowances attached to the positions will be as obtained in Federal Government Universities.
