Vacancies: Trainee Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Geologist
Our Client, a wholly owned indigenous E&P Company, operating from its own l0, 00bbls crude processing station (Flow station), is currently expanding its operations and consequently looking to recruit strategic and positive minded individuals to fill the following positions in Lagos/Delta State.
Position: Trainee Production Engineer
Role Summary:
Assist line manager in Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on the performance of all oil, gas, non-associated gas, production facilities in the assigned field, in terms of both equipment efficiency and process effectiveness, from wellheads through processing/treatment plants, to and including distribution pipeline;
Major Accountabilities:
- Perform routine field and office activities requiring the application of basic engineering and elemental theories.
- Participate in planning technical aspects of drilling both production and injection of wells.
Competencies
- Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Eager to learn and willing to share knowledge as well
Qualification:
- B.Eng /Tech in Petroleum, Mechanical, Reservoir Engineering with a minimum of 2.1
Position: Process Engineer
Role Summary:
Deliver timely and effective routine functions required for all operations and production systems.
Major Accountabilities:
- Constantly monitor and ensure accurate process controls of all production process vessels at the flow station, custody transfer station and wellheads for smooth production and shipment operations in the field.
- Coordinate the day to day running of the entire production process and instrumentation equipment / facilities in the field to achieve set production and injection targets
Competencies:
- Possess the knowledge of operations, Production, flow systems and injection facilities; Tools and equipment
- Possess sound priority management, monitoring, problem solving and project management skills.
Qualification:
- B.Eng./Tech in Mechanical, Structural, Process or civil Engineering with a minimum of 2.1
- Minimum of 6 year s experience in the oil and gas industry
Position: Geologist
Role Summary:
Provide support in coordination of well site geological & geophysical activities related with G & G service providers
Major Accountabilities:
- Estimates oil reserves in proven or prospective fields, and consults with Drilling Engineers concerning drilling and production methods.
- Examines location data to ascertain oil and gas exploration potentials
Competencies:
- Provide accurate estimates of oil reserves in proven or prospective fields.
- Consults and liaises with Drilling Engineers concerning most efficient drilling and production methods
- Examines and validates location data to ascertain oil and gas exploration potentials
- Pays keen attention to details
Qualifications:
- B.Sc in Geology with a minimum of 2.1
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
