Vacancies: Senior Financial Accountant, Technical Asst. To MD

Our Client, a wholly owned indigenous E&P Company, operating from its own l0, 00bbls crude processing station (Flow station), is currently expanding its operations and consequently looking to recruit strategic and positive minded individuals to fill the following positions in Lagos/Delta State.

 

Position: Senior Financial Accountant

 

Role Summary:

Cash flow management, financial forecasts and modeling. Generate performance indices and variance analysis.

 

Major Accountabilities:

  • Provides financial advice by studying operational issues, applying financial principle and practices; developing recommendations
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement of the company to meet the Statutory requirements as well as local and international accounting standards.

 

Competencies:

  • Conversant with Oil and Gas Accounting/ Fiscal regimes, IFRS and SAP Business One, Joint Venture Accounting.
  • Possess Sound priority management, thoroughness and accuracy, supervisory/Coaching and sound analytical skills

 

Qualification:

  • ACA, ACCA.
  • 7 years post professional accounting qualification (of a good Accounting degree)
  • A minimum of 3years experience in similar position preferably m thp Oil and Gas Industry

 

Position: Technical Asst. To MD

 

Role Summary:

Provide day to day assistance to the MD on all technical and operational matters.

 

Major Accountability:

  • Provide management oversight for the development of integrated engineering blue prints and plans
  • Maintain an up to-date consolidated management overview of protect contracts performance

Competencies:

  • Experience in reservoir engineering and drilling; and/ or production engineering with relevant certification
  • Excellent reporting and interpersonal skills
  • Diligent, dedicated, focused, and target oriented with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Has experience in contracting, project management, finance and accounting

 

Qualification:

  • A good B.Eng/tech In Mechanical, Structural, Process or Civil Engineering degree from a reputable higher institution.
  • Preferably a male of 35 – 40 yrs. with about 10-15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry
  • MBA or additional qualification will be an advantage
